The Stagnone di Marsala cycle path
It’s a true parade of exclusive elements of the Marsala territory: from windmills to colorful salt pans, to the salt museum, and the old submerged road to the island of Mozia, visible only during low tide.
The red-colored path is a real pleasure to cycle, especially at sunset when the sky explodes with color.
It is equipped with horizontal and vertical signage in both directions and includes rest areas, benches, and walls made with eco-sustainable materials.
The route offers nature and movement enthusiasts a suggestive panorama to pedal against the backdrop of the Egadi Islands. It’s a pleasant ride immersed in colors, history, and scents, providing the opportunity to admire its unique flora and fauna, such as pink flamingos and samphire, the aromatic herb that grows along the road.
In summer evenings, the bike path serves as the backdrop for various cultural events such as the itinerant festival “Tramonto” and “la Scurata,” organized at the Saline Genna.
