Capo Feto Natural Reserve

Capo Feto Natural Reserve Capo Feto Natural Reserve

Capo Feto is one of the few wetlands in Sicily, and its natural balance must be carefully preserved. Located on the coast, the area stretches between sand dunes and very picturesque water pools up to a beach that extends for about 5 km.

Its 435 hectares are almost completely submerged by the sea during the winter and much drier in the summer.

Their vegetation is characterised by the massive presence of Poseidonia and Salicornia, making this reserve an ideal habitat for numerous species of birds.
