Diving: A "walk" in underwater museums

Diving: A "walk" in underwater museums Diving: A "walk" in underwater museums
Western Sicily has something unique that deserves to be experienced firsthand: diving to discover the visitable wrecks that lie on the bottom of the sea in places of high landscape and naturalistic value, conferred by the presence of local fauna and flora.

In these seas the archaeological finds tell the story fragment by fragment. In Pantelleria, in Marsala, in San Vito Lo Capo, with the wrecks of the Amphorae, the Macine and the famous one of the Kent, a commercial ship from the 70s, but above all in Levanzo, in Cala Minnola, whose waters preserve the important wreck of a Roman cargo ship with a load of Dressel 1b type wine amphorae. These are itineraries classified and made accessible for an unusual way of discovery and knowledge.

On the region's websiteExternal link it is possible to find data relating to all itineraries with indications of the type of finds visible, the depth and the degree of difficulty. An experience within patent reach!
